Pregnancy Medical Centers & Resources Centers

Pregnancy medical clinics and resource centers provide free and low cost services for any resident in need in Pennsylvania. These medical clinics and resource centers are an essential grassroots network working to address maternal child health needs in our state.

Medical Centers provide maternal and child healthcare and operate under the direction of a medical director and a credentialed medical staff.

Pregnancy medical centers provide medical services such as pregnancy testing, ultrasound scans, and STD testing and treatment under medical directors  … credentialed medical professionals. Pregnancy medical clinics provide referrals as needed to ensure that each patient has access to the services they and their families need.

Resource Centers provide critical support services in their communities such as parenting education and material help.

Pregnancy Resource Centers provide parenting education, material help, and referrals as needed. These non-medical pregnancy resource centers provide necessary services and offer support to families that may not have access to other types of assistance.

Together, pregnancy medical clinics and resource centers work to ensure that all Pennsylvanians have access to quality care and support both early in and throughout their pregnancy by providing free services and making appropriate referrals.

Mission

The mission of the Pennsylvania Pregnancy Wellness Collaborative advances the work of faith-based pregnancy help organizations in Pennsylvania by providing a unified voice for pregnancy centers, educating our communities and legislatures, and promoting and protecting pregnancy help statewide.

Vision

The vision of the Pennsylvania Pregnancy Wellness Collaborative is to see a Pennsylvania where pregnancy help organizations are protected and supported as they live out their Christian faith by freely empowering families to choose life.

Purpose

The Pennsylvania Pregnancy Wellness Collaborative represents local pregnancy resource centers and pregnancy medical centers facing important and sometimes threatening shifts in our culture and government. Together, we promote and affirm the sanctity of human life. Our purpose is to unify in one voice to advocate for policies that protect our organizations and the families they serve.

SARAH BOWEN

President PPWC

Promise of Life Network

Slippery Rock, New Castle, Butler, Mercer, Sandy Lake

With the help and input of pregnancy centers across the state, I was able to testify in front of Pennsylvania Democrats about "anti-abortion fake clinics." The PPWC allows us to work together, support one another, and make a difference.

AMY SCHEURING

Vice President PPWC

Women's Choice Network

Pittsburgh, Monroeville

Our centers have been repeatedly protested. vandalized, and maligned by abortion advocates. Joining a collaborative gives our team confidence that there is a network of support behind us and one unified voice speaking on behalf of centers like ours.

Bright Hope Pregnancy Support Centers

Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton

When our center was targeted by pro-abortion forces, we felt isolated and on our own. But we stood strong and the city backed down. I know the PPWC, united, will enable us to stand up together, against those who want to see your PRC disappear.

CHERYL CRESSWELL

Secretary PPWC

Jewel Women's Center

Schuylkill Haven

I want to be certain that I am aware of all that is going on in our state. And I believe that we should connect and help each other. Each of us has something special to give. The PPWC is a timely response to make it happen.

KERI MUIR

Choices Pregnancy Services

Pittsburgh, Coraopolis, Monaca, Beaver County

We need each other and I believe that we are stronger together. My hope is that not only will this help us to stay on top of current events in our state, but it will be a venue to reach out to one another for prayer, support, and encouragement.

BROOKE NEARMAN

AlphaCare

Philadelphia

By providing a bridge of communication to improve the vast political divide in PA, PPWC will drive better understanding among Republican and Democratic legislators. When we connect them to centers like ours, truth reigns and the essential value of pregnancy centers is understood.

JILL HARTMAN

A Woman's Concern

Lancaster

For over 50 years, our Center has been able to serve the most vulnerable while allowing "politics" to be handled by others. With the fall of Roe, everything changed. As political actions target pregnancy centers, we can no longer remain silent.
